2 Esdras 12:28-30
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition

28 For the sword of one shall devour him who was with him, but he also shall fall by the sword in the last days.(A)

29 “As for your seeing two little wings[a] passing over to[b] the head that was on the right side,(B) 30 this is the interpretation: It is these whom the Most High has kept for the eagle’s[c] end; this was the reign that was brief and full of tumult, as you have seen.(C)
